This piece serves as a visual metaphor for the ongoing erasure of wildlife. The giraffe's iconic patterns, typically used for survival in the wild, are hollowed out to represent the toll of human encroachment. As humanity pieces away at their natural habitats, the majestic creature stands resolute, even as it physically dissolves into the empty space around it.
