Rings

Using clay rings and links, I explore the idea of ‘fragile strength’. Inspired by medieval chainmail and jewelry. I translate this protective and decorative metal form into a transient medium. Clay is pliant and fragile, yet the interlocking patterns represent power and connection. They look pretty cool hung on a wall too!
