This piece is one of a new series of tiny houses, or Small Structures I've been exploring. Though each small structure begins from a similar starting point, they are each uniquely inspired, one of a kind works.

The Walking House is a biomorphic, architectural hybrid. It combines the familiarity of home with the unsettled, kinetic energy of a living creature. Maybe it could be called “domestic surrealism”. Does it evoke nostalgia… displacement…or maybe its just freaky!

The roof is not removable.
