Van Gogh House (Starry Night) is one of a new series of tiny houses, or Small Structures I've been exploring. Though each small structure begins from a similar starting point, they are each uniquely inspired, one of a kind works.

Van Gogh was an enigmatic and tragic genius. His work is mesmerizing and drips with emotion. Van Gogh House was intimidating and fun for me to create! I wasn’t sure how I should approach emulating his masterpiece…didn’t know how to start till I just started carving on the clay! If nothing else, I hope the viewer can sense my admiration for the original “Starry Night”.

The roof is removable and theres just enough room inside to place a small light or a couple air plants.
