Pissarro House is one of a new series of tiny houses, or Small Structures I've been exploring. Though each small structure begins from a similar starting point, they are each uniquely inspired, one of a kind works.

Pissarro House was generally inspired by my love of the work of painter Camille Pissarro (pivotal figure of the impressionist movement) but more specifically fueled by many viewings of his work “The Red House” which has been on display at The Portland Art Museum for many years!

The roof is removable and theres just enough room inside to place a small light or a couple air plants.
